The U.S. Global Peace Department will commission a research in the third quarter of 2023 to better understand the elements and challenges to human rights and democratic development. We are acutely aware of the many issues that pose a threat to democratic norms, to that end, a multi-dimentional approach will be use to gather critical data that will lead to developing a policy paper that will articulate essential interventions which will in turn help mitigate or prevent the threats to democracy.
